Kadai BBQ Fire Bowl or Fire Pit - Without Stand

The Wilstone recycled iron kadai barbeque fire bowl has unique qualities, not many people can pass by without giving it a second look, it adds presence in any garden or patio area and is used as both a BBQ and fire bowl / fire pit or simply as an attractive planter when not in use.

An environmentally friendly and attractive way of providing a warmth that everyone will enjoy, whether you are cooking, camping, on the beach or just socialising with friends, the recycled kadai barbeque fire bowl will awaken your primeval senses.

Built from recycled oil drums, the recycled kadai barbeque fire bowl is made in India, in the traditional Indian method with iron plates riveted together for strength and durability to form the perfect fire bowl. Designed with practicality in mind it is available in three sizes, 60cm, 70cm or 80cm. Original used Kadai are available in larger sizes for those who want outside catering with a difference.

A pair of 4mm grills to be laid across the bowl are included, these are large enough to provide a variable heat to cook on by moving food to the edges when necessary. The grills can be lifted off after cooking using the forged tongs to allow the addition of wood and logs to convert the Kadai into a fire pit to sit around.

In the base of the bowl is a unique gauze filter system for drainage, separating the ash from the rainwater by use of a layer of sand (sand not included). This gives you a maintenance free barbeque that will last for years outside, all you need to do is give the grills a quick brush down before and after cooking. The bowl will take on a rusted appearance quite quickly giving a rustic look. If you prefer a more metallic and less rustic look then you can periodically rub vegetable oil into the iron surfaces.

Every recycled Kadai is fitted with strong drop handles for easy manoeuvrability even when lit.

Forged tongs and a wire cleaning brush are included.
